You don’t need to look too far back to notice that robot vacuums have developed quite a bit in recent years. In the past – just a decade or so ago – most robot vacuums were very impractical. Sure, they were novel, and they looked cool, but they weren’t that powerful or efficient. Instead, they were expensive novelties that didn’t add a great deal of value to your life. It was fun using one, and it was nice to have one, but there wasn’t much in the way of practicality.
For a time, this was the dominant belief. And, it was true, robot vacuums weren’t all that practical for many years. As time passed, though, the motors and cleaning systems that these robot vacuums used became better and better. Instead of relying on clunky and relatively inefficient motors and cleaning systems that weren’t very well-designed, the motors became more powerful and the cleaning systems became fantastic.
Right around that same time, smartphones became very popular. Smartphones ushered in a new era of software development, and this allowed the manufacturers of these robot vacuums to develop applications specifically tailored for a specific robot vacuum. Instead of being reliant on a remote control, you were able to use your smartphone to access the different features and settings of your robot vacuum, as long as you had a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection.
It didn’t take long for manufacturers to realize the sheer potential of that new control method, and as robot vacuums became better and better, more manufacturers started integrating a variety of useful and sophisticated features. These features allowed the user to have a much easier, and far more efficient, time vacuuming and cleaning their home.
In this buying guide, you’re going to learn all about the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum. This is a fantastic robot vacuum that comes with some excellent features, and some great design attributes. What Does The Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum Have To Offer?
To use the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum, you are going to need to download the smartphone application that Roborock has developed. Or, you can use the remote control, but using your smartphone gives you quite a bit more control over the features of this robot vacuum, making it a lot easier for you to clean your home the way that you want to clean it.
Using your smartphone, you can turn the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum on and off. You can create a custom schedule, choose a cleaning mode, tell the vacuum to recharge, and you can also tell the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum where it needs to clean, and what rooms and spaces it shouldn’t go into.
You can access those features, because the sensors that the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum uses are designed to capture the entire layout of your home. From this data, a map is shown on the screen of the smartphone app, and you can then tell the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum to clean, say, your bedroom. You can tell the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum to clean that room a specific way. You can tell the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum which rooms and spaces it can’t go into. And, you can create schedules for when the robot vacuum needs to clean certain spaces.
Many of the other robot vacuums on the market give you features related to telling the robot vacuum which spaces not to clean, but they do so in a different way. Instead of giving you access to a smartphone tool that lets you do that, you must rely on physical strips and little devices that you can put in front of particular spaces. These work, but they’re just not that convenient, which is why the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum is quite exceptional.
As for the cleaning abilities of the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum, you have access to vacuuming, and mopping. Both of these features work incredibly well, and you aren’t going to have any issues using either cleaning method.
Most of the time, you’ll probably be vacuuming. Using the vacuum, you can vacuum on hardwood floors and stone floors and just about any other hard floor. And, you can do the same on any soft floor, such as rugs and carpets. Many robot vacuums lack the suction power and cleaning ability to do this, but this robot vacuum doesn’t, which is fantastic.
As for the mopping, it works well on hard floors, removing those stains and patches of dirt and dust. It’s not a replacement for regular mopping, but it works well at cleaning up those little messes that are left behind.
Ultimately, if you want a fantastic robot vacuum that gives you many excellent features, then the Roborock S6 Robot Vacuum is a fantastic choice!

Roborock S6 Vs. Roborock E35
With the Roborock E35, you have a robot vacuum that is quite similar to the Roborock S6. It does lack a few features, though, but it’s also a much more inexpensive robot vacuum.
Using the Roborock E35, you can easily vacuum on hard floors, and soft floors. The vacuuming performance is the same as the Roborock S6. Just as with the Roborock S6, there is a mopping feature. When you are using the Roborock E35, you can rely on your smartphone to choose the cleaning mode, create the schedule, tell the vacuum to recharge, among various other settings and features. You cannot, however, tell the robot vacuum where to clean or what it can’t clean. The sensors are unable to do that.
Ultimately, the Roborock E35 is a fast and efficient robot vacuum that, while not the greatest robot vacuum, is incredibly powerful and efficient. And, if that’s what you want, then it’s a great choice.

Roborock S6 Vs. Neato Robotics D7
The Neato Robotics D7 is a robot vacuum that gives you many of the same features as the Roborock S6. But, it also offers a few things that are a little different.
With the Neato Robotics D7, you have a robot vacuum that is fast and efficient, while also giving you a great deal of control over the cleaning process. Using your smartphone, you can tell the Neato Robotics D7 where it needs to go, what it needs to clean, what it doesn’t need to clean, and how it cleans what it needs to clean. This is due to the laser sensors that are located all across the Neato Robotics D7.
When it comes to the cleaning performance of the Neato Robotics D7, you can vacuum up anything with this robot vacuum. You don’t have access to a mopping feature, but the vacuuming is fantastic. It’s fast, efficient, and thorough.
Ultimately, if you want a robot vacuum that gives you direct control over the cleaning process, and a great deal of cleaning performance, then the Neato Robotics D7 is a fantastic choice!
