Right away, you’ll notice the high-quality design of this canister vacuum. On an aesthetic level, the design isn’t particularly notable, but it doesn’t look bad. Instead, it looks functional and clean, and that’s because the design is very functional, and very concise.
Each feature and setting is delineated properly, and all of the buttons feel good to press and use. More importantly, actually using the vacuum is pleasant and easy, due to the high-quality design of each individual component.
Unlike some other canister vacuums, this canister vacuum provides a very pleasant and very enjoyable vacuuming experience.
To use this canister vacuum, you need to plug it in and then set up the floor head that you will be using. There are two different floor heads that Miele has provided, and both of these floor heads are designed for different kinds of vacuuming.
There is the Parquet Hard-Floor Brush, and then there is the Rug & Floor Brush. But, along with that, you have access to several different tools that you can attach to the vacuum cleaner, and these tools make it easier to perform certain kinds of vacuuming functions.
With the Parquet Hard-Floor Brush, you have a floor head that glides across hard floors. It doesn’t matter what hard floor you’re vacuuming, the Parquet Hard-Floor Brush works exceptionally well on those kinds of floors and it does a great job at brushing up and vacuuming all of the dirt, dust, and debris that it comes into contact with.
Plus, due to the width of the floor head, it’s great at removing large pieces of debris, and vacuuming larger spaces in a short period of time.
Of course, there are going to be vacuuming situations where you need to vacuum on a soft floor, such as a rug or carpet. That’s where the Rug & Floor Brush comes in. Using the Rug & Floor Brush, you’re able to vacuum on thick rugs and carpets that are filled with dirt, dust, and debris.
This particular floor head has a nice brush system that allows all of the gunk that is within your rug/carpet to be loosened up and then sucked straight into the vacuum cleaner.
What’s really nice about the Rug & Floor Brush is that, on the top of the floor head, there’s a switch. With just your foot, you can press this switch and it will allow you to vacuum on hard floors.
If there is a lot of dirt or dust on your hard floors, then this is a great floor head to use, due to the powerful brushing system.
As for the tools that Miele has provided, there are several. There is an Electrobrush, a crevice tool, a dusting brush, and an upholstery tool. With these different tools, you are able to vacuum on different surfaces and in different spaces that the main floor heads aren’t able to vacuum.
For example, the crevice tool allows you to vacuum in tight and narrow crevices. And, using the Electrobrush, you’re able to vacuum in small spaces on a thick carpet or rug.
To aid in the vacuuming process, there is a dial on the front of the canister vacuum. This dial allows you to choose the amount of suction that you are using, and there are six different suction settings.
Having access to these suction settings is really nice, as it allows you to tailor the overall vacuuming experience to your exact needs.Related Miele Canister Vacuum Articles
