If you are on the market for a good air purifier, then the Levoit LV-H134 Air Purifier may just be for you. That is why, in this review, we’re going to take an in-depth look at what it has to offer, and how it works.
The Levoit LV-H134 Air Purifier is quite expensive. But, the high-price is due to the fact that this air purifier offers an exceptional design, a significant amount of air purification power, as well as a large Maximum Area Coverage.
Right away, you’ll first notice that this air purifier has a sleek and clean design that makes it very easy for you to use this air purifier, but also to access and understand the myriad of different settings and features that it offers. This, of course, makes the entire air purification experience much easier for you.
Along with that, the aesthetic of this air purifier is quite nice, so you can set it up anywhere in your home and it will look very good.
Every air purifier has something known as a “Maximum Area Coverage”. What a Maximum Area Coverage is, is the amount of space that an air purifier can purify. With this air purifier, the Maximum Area Coverage is 1,170 square-feet, which is quite a bit.
As a result of this Maximum Area Coverage, when the air purifier is running, it is able to purify 1,170 square-feet of whatever space it is in. This could be a living room or an office, or some other space. But, if the entirety of that space is larger than 1,170 square-feet, then it will only be able to purify 1,170 square-feet, rather than the entirety of the space.
When you turn on this air purifier, you can activate a mode that is called “Smart Auto Mode”. What is super nice about this mode, is that it detects the current quality of your air, and then the air purifier adjusts itself so that it can properly clean all of the air that is within your space, ensuring that the air is as clean and nice as it can be.
In just thirty-minutes, this air purifier is able to completely purify all of the air that is within a 1,170 square-foot space. But, along with that, it’s also able to completely purify a space of 710 square-feet, in just eighteen-minutes.
This is some very quick air purification, and this speed makes the entire air purification process easier, since there’s no need for you to run the air purifier for an extremely long period of time.
As to how the air purifier works, exactly, it relies on a few different mechanisms. Each one of these mechanisms is designed to thoroughly clean the air that flows into the air purifier. But, in order for all of that air to reach the air purifier, a small fan is used to suck air directly into the air purifier.
This fan takes air from outside of the air purifier, and grabs it, pushing it through a vent that is shaped like a circle. This allows air to come into the air purifier from 360-degrees, rather than the more constrained suction of other air purifiers.
When air has flown into the air purifier, it begins to pass through three different air purification mechanisms. Each one of these air purification mechanisms performs a basic air purification function.
The first purification mechanism is the Fine Preliminary Filter. What the Fine Preliminary Filter does, is it captures and eliminates the larger particles that are moving around within your air. These are particles such as fibers, lint, and pet hair.
For the next air purification mechanism, air flows through a True-HEPA Filter. What the True-HEPA Filter does, is it removes the smallest particles that are floating through the air. These are particles such as spores, dust, mold, germs, bacteria; along with many others.
Then, for the final air purification mechanism, there is the Activated Carbon Filter. What the Activated Carbon Filter does, is it removes the bad smells and odors that are in the air. This ensures that the air is free of germs, and that it smells nice.
In the end, the Levoit LV-H134 Air Purifier is a wonderful air cleaner that offers a tremendous amount of power, as well as a very sleek and convenient design. It is quite expensive, but if you need the best, then this is a great purchase.
