Extremely Easy-To-Use

Making use of this robot vacuum is exceptionally easy. Within the box, there is a simple remote control that gives you access to all of the features and functions that you need. If you want to create a custom schedule or change the cleaning mode, then with the press of a button, you can do just that.

What’s really cool, though, is that you can also use your smartphone or a smart device. By using your smartphone, you can activate and control the robot vacuum at any time and in any place. You do not need to be within range of the robot vacuum. If you use a smart device – Amazon Alexa, for example – you can use your voice to activate and control the robot vacuum.

Very Useful Smart Navigation

Within the Roomba i3, there are a variety of unique sensors. Each one of these sensors allows the robot vacuum to move across the various spaces in your home, sensing the different objects and dirty spots that are along your floors.

The most useful sensors within the robot vacuum are the Dirt Detect sensors. By having access to these Dirt Detect sensors, the robot vacuum is able to detect the dirtiest and grimiest areas of your home. That way, it can then focus on cleaning those particular areas with greater thoroughness than the less dirty areas within your home.

Excellent Brush System

Right underneath the body of the robot vacuum, there are Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes. The two brushes that comprise this brush system are absolutely fantastic. Each brush is strong and durable, allowing it to last a long time, while being comprised of strong bristles that allow for thorough brushing.

Since you will be using the Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes, you can vacuum on nearly any floor surface. Every hard floor can be cleaned with incredible ease. If you need to remove dirt, dust, and debris from a hardwood floor or a stone floor – or any hard surface, for that matter – then these brushes are excellent.

If you need to remove dirt, dust, and debris from soft surfaces, such as carpets and rugs, these brushes allow the dirt, dust, and debris within those spaces to be gathered up and removed.

Powerful Suction System

While the brush system is absolutely fantastic, it would be far less useful if the suction system wasn’t equally as good. But, fortunately, it is!

The motor within the robot vacuum generates more than enough suction power for just about every vacuuming task. Vacuuming across any hard floor is exceptionally easy, allowing for thorough and precise cleaning. Vacuuming across soft floors is a little more difficult, though, because thick rugs and carpets tend to require more suction power.

But, with that being said, the suction power allows for most rugs and carpets to be vacuumed up with a fair amount of thoroughness and efficiency.

Great For Pets

The features and functions that the Roomba i3 offers make it great for pets. Removing pet hair is extremely easy, since the Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes are tangle-free. Because of this, they can remove large amounts of pet hair, and it will never become tangled along the brush. Many other robot vacuums have brushes that easily become tangled, so this is a very welcome feature.

Along with that, there is a High-Efficiency Filter within the robot vacuum. Due to having this High-Efficiency Filter, the allergens coming from the pet hair you are vacuuming up can be removed very easily. More often than not, these allergens consist of things like pet dander and dust, and this filter has been designed to remove these particles.

For especially thick carpets and rugs, though, that have large amounts of pet hair within their folds, this robot vacuum isn’t always able to do a great job. But, this is due to the fact that thick rugs and carpets are difficult to vacuum, due to their density, rather than this robot vacuum’s ability to eliminate pet hair.

Conclusion: A Fantastic Robot Vacuum!

In the end, the iRobot Roomba i3 is a fantastic robot vacuum! If you are looking for an elaborate and efficient machine that works wonders on just about every surface, then you won’t be disappointed with the iRobot Roomba i3!
